Change Name in Sims 3 No comments yet
I’m sure you will come across the problem of having a sim you later want to change the name of, or maybe you just called the baby girl of the family Michael. In Sims 2 it was very hard to change the name of your sims, but this has gotten a lot easier in Sims 3.
To change the name of your Sims 3 sims, you just have to visit the City Hall. If you need to change the name of one of your small sims, that can’t go to the City Hall, you can send one of the older sims. Just find the City Hall on the map, and choose “Change Name”, and you get an option of which sim you want to change name of.

About wishes and happyness in Sims 3 No comments yet
There is a new developer blog entry on the Sims 3 site, and we are here to explain it to you. You can read the full post here, which is written by an associate producer of Sims 3.
A new feature of Sims 3 is Wishes. This is a bit like what you find in Sims 2, but instead when your sims have wishes, you choose to throw them away or promise the sim that you will help them reach their wishes. Accomlishing the wishes gives your sim lifetime happyness points, that you can use to buy achievement traits. There are more than twenty of these achievement traits, so surely some of those will be great for your sim.
Sims 2 Apartment Life No comments yet
Ever wanted your sims to live in an apartment in the city instead of having their own house out in the countryside? Well, with the new apartment life expansions for Sims 2 you now have the chance to let do that.
The new expansion will allow you to rent an apartment instead of having to move into a house alone. This means it will be cheaper in the beginning for your sim, but each will there will be rent to pay. There are a lot of finished apartments available, from trailer parks to classy, modern apartments. Some come with some furniture for your sims, while you are totally free to change these and repaint the whole apartment.
You will now have neighbours that might play high music during the night, or maybe you are the party lion keeping your neighbours up. To help pay the rent you can also get a room mate.
If you want to make your own “Friends”-series in Sims 2, you should check out Apartment Life.

Living in the Neighbourhood No comments yet
Sims 3 will introduce a while new neighbourhood system. In Sims 2 you are pretty much forced to stay at home or visit one of the community lots outside of the neighbourhood. However, in Sims 3 you will be able to walk over to the neighbour and take a cup of coffee. You can jog around and look around, and see and meet a lot of new Sims.
This is a large change from the previous game, and will enable you to co-play with other Sims-families in a completely new way. If you are playing more families yourself, or your real-life friends and family make sims-families in you neighbourhood, you can experience their home and sims in a new way, forming relationships and having fun. Check out the official page for the feature here.
